Prije početka ovogodišnje supercross sezone, postojale su brojne glasine da bi braća Stewart mogli osnovati vlastiti tim te voziti zajedno. I dok se moglo tu i tamo vidjeti koja slika i video mlađeg Stewart-a na Kawasakiju, stariji Stewart je pak i dalje bio nevidljiv.
Iako je propustio prvu utrku sezone, Malcolm Stewart će ipak voziti ove godine i to za Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing tim. Koliko će Stewart ostati u timu ovisi o brzini oporavka J. Bogle-a, koji je doživio teži pad na treningu pred samu utrku.
Nažalost, još uvijek nema nikakvih informacija o Jamesu, koji je po svemu sudeći otišao u zasluženu mirovinu.
